Handmade black and white scrimshaw knife on ancient mammoth tusk ivory by an unknown artist. Well made knife from the collection of one of our long time clients who is no longer with us. Not sure of the type of steel used and the type of stone in the thumbstud, but the file work is very well done. Nice work.
