Large Old Tabua

“Large Old Tabua” exceptional whale’s tooth in pristine condition. Holes in top and base of tooth completely intact. Broad surface (2 7/8″W), length 7 1/2″ ! Weight: 683 grams, 1lb., 7.9 oz. Rare to seen one this large and in such fine condition. Tabua (pronounced tam-BOO-ah) roughly translates to “sacred” in Fijian. The valuable relic, associated with good luck and even supernatural powers, has traditionally paved the way for marriages in this nation of more than 300 islands.
