Charging Grizzly!

“Charging Grizzly!” black and white scrimshaw on very large piece of ancient mammoth tusk ivory bark by David Adams. Upset grizzly sees something he does not like. Outstanding work by scrimshander, Adams. He can do it all including nautical, wildlife and portraits, all first rate. The shading on the grizzly, from light to dark. creates a  very strong. image. The enraged bear seems to be coming off the ivory. Speaking of ivory, this is a very large piece of absolutely primo bark, very thick with no checks or cracks. First rare, just like the scrimshaw.
