Cougar Splashing

“Cougar Splashing ” black and white scrimshaw on thick ancient mammoth tusk ivory bark by David Adams. Closeup view of cougar splashing in water, probably chasing his next meal. Adams has really zeroed in on the intensity of the large cat. Love his small touch of color in the piercing eyes, a brilliant addition. This is done on a very thick piece of mammoth ivory. Don’t have many pieces this size and weight around. Very impressive work, indeed.
