“Ellery Knight Scrimshaw Bolo ” black and white scrimshaw on ancient mammoth tusk ivory by Ellery Knight. Many people have admired our logo for decades, often asking who the artist was. None other than the late Ellery Knight, one of the most talented artists whom we have known. The sterling silver setting was done by Maryanne Fletcher, whose work appeared in Gilkerson’s first scrimshaw book. Lot of history here. Braided leather is 23″ long, including he handmade mammoth ivory tips.
