Fossil Whale’s Tooth

$700.00 $560.00

‘Fossil Whale’s Tooth’ This is quite rare: a fossil whale’s tooth that has been buried for at least 300-500 years in the Northern Bering Sea area. This rare object has absorbed minerals over the period and is a lustrous dark black color. A tiny hole was drilled into the base, so  it was probably on a stand at one time. The tip has disappeared over the years. It is quite dense. See the weight in grams below. From the extensive collection of one of our clients who is no longer with us.
