Soaring Bald Eagle

“Soaring Bald Eagle” color scrimshaw on ancient walrus tusk ivory shard by K.S.I. This was sold by Scrimshaw Gallery in 1992 to one of our late collectors. Not sure who the artist was, but the work is quite well done. Nice composition with the outline of distant clouds and the blue tinged mountainson the bottom. The bald eagle itself is first rate work. The stand was made by the late Ken Fredericks. Won’t seen another like this again.
