“Walrus Family Gathering” detailed carving of large walrus family by talented unknown carver on ancient walrus tusk ivory. Stunning color in the ancient walrus ivory, the result of minerals absorbed over hundreds of years. This was done on the center core of the tusk, the most difficult part of the tusk to use. Note the two little guys on end. Nice touch.
