Wood Duck Portrait

“Wood Duck Portrait” color scrimshaw on ancient mammoth tusk ivory by the late Kelly Mulford. Created around 1984 during early days of AS&I in Bellingham, Wa. To this day, no one ever did ducks and other birds better than Mulford. He was one of a kind. Rare opportunity to add a Mulford to one’s collection at a bargain price. Appears this was intended for some type of jewelry as an be seen at the top of the cab.
